Aldo x Tezza

Commercial

Synopsis

Created in collaboration with Tezza Barton, this fashion campaign for Aldo blends editorial storytelling with the striking landscapes of the Californian desert. Combining lifestyle imagery with contemporary fashion, the campaign celebrates confidence, individuality and effortless style through a series of cinematic shots.

Creative Approach

Fashion campaigns often live or die by their atmosphere. For Aldo × Tezza, the goal wasn't simply to enhance the footage, but to create a world that felt nostalgic, cinematic and effortlessly aspirational—a world the audience wanted to step into.

The final grade embraces the warmth of the Californian desert, drawing on soft pastel tones, sun-bleached highlights and rich, natural textures to evoke the feeling of an endless summer road trip. Rather than fighting the harsh midday sun, strong backlight and natural lens flare, these elements became part of the visual language, adding authenticity and character while maintaining beautifully rendered skin tones throughout.

At the same time, the creative grade had to remain true to Aldo's products. Footwear and accessories were carefully matched against the supplied reference imagery to ensure colour accuracy and brand consistency, balancing the creative intent of the campaign with the commercial requirement that every product looked exactly as it should.

Alongside developing the final look, I produced multiple deliverables for a variety of digital and social platforms, ensuring the campaign translated consistently across every format without losing its distinctive filmic aesthetic.
